This video shows a MISS manual packaging station for pre-sorted envelopes which need to be packaged together to be sent to a final destination such as a bank branch or city hall.
The system is connected over the customer network for input file management and reporting. It features integrated printers for delivery notes and address labels.
The 2D code visible through the envelope window is scanned for each envelope in the group. The system checks that all envelopes in the group are present.
The operator types in the unique number of the envelope ("sealing number") and the system then laser prints a packing list with details of all the individual envelopes.
The operator folds the printed sheet and inserts it, together with the envelopes into a plastic courier envelope.
The operator requests an address label and this is printed by the thermal printer.
An audit file is created at the end of the job and is transferred back across the network.
